Jalen Rhea

Jalen Rhea, a New Albany, OH native graduated from New Albany High School in the spring of 2013. In his senior campaign at New Albany Jalen was named the 2013 OCC-Capital Conference Player Of The Year along with a Div. 1 3rd Team All-Ohio and 1st Team All OCC-Capital Conference selection. Jalen went on to earn & complete a full-ride basketball scholarship to American University in Washington DC from the spring of 2014 to 2017. As a player, Jalen helped win the 2014 Patriot League Championship that earned a 15th seed bid to the 2014 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament vs the Wisconsin Badgers.

After graduating from American University in the spring of 2017 with a bachelor’s in Business Administration he spent 5 years in the logistics industry while pursuing his dream of coaching/training basketball full-time. With his addition to the Just Hoops family, he is incredibly excited to use his many experiences as a coach and player to help as many players not only reach but exceed their goals.
