PART TIME POSITION: Coach & Team Member

 

Just Hoops by Shoot-A-Way (Dublin) is a basketball training facility located in Dublin/Plain City. We are currently seeking a Basketball Coach/Team Member to work 12-25 hours per week. Hours are mainly evenings and Saturday mornings.

The primary role of this position is to help athletes of all ages and abilities develop and enjoy their time on the court.  This coach could be doing personal training sessions, coaching, and leading group sessions, working with members during their shooting sessions, or serving our clients from behind the desk.  

This individual must have a passion for working with athletes of all ages and helping them grow in basketball skills and character. This person must love to communicate with players and parents, can teach the details, and truly enjoy serving other people. The perfect candidate should act as a positive role model and positive voice of Just Hoops.

Duties would include:

  • Assisting players with their workouts. Ensuring they are enjoying the game and the journey of development.
  • Along with other coaches, help players in group sessions such as classes and clinics.
  • Planning and working with athletes in personal training sessions.
  • Serve from behind the front desk by helping members with scheduling, greeting customers, building relationships, taking payments, emails, and answering phones.
  • Assist team with other functions to make sure each player is being served at the highest level possible.

DUBLIN FACILITY seeking  Facility Coordinator & Coach:

 

The Facility Coordinator and Coach is responsible for overseeing daily operations to ensure exceptional experience for all clients. Working alongside other team members, this role involves building strong relationships with clients, handling accounts, and contributing to strategic planning for the facility’s growth. Additionally, the Facility Coordinator will coach players of all ages and skill levels, reinforcing our commitment to development on and off the court. This position plays a key role in upholding our vision of putting clients first and delivering outstanding service.

Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with players and parents to better serve their needs and support their development.
  • Oversee facility operations and client needs, taking proactive steps to ensure the best possible experience.
  • Collaborate with administrators to develop and execute marketing campaigns, create programming, and plan events.
  • Utilize data and client feedback to enhance efficiency and drive continuous improvement.
  • Coach all ages and abilities in classes, clinics, and summer camps.
  • Provide personal training sessions for athletes of all ages, from grade school to adults.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Schedule: Sundays: 1:00–8:00 PM | Monday–Thursday: 1:00–9:00 PM.
  • Passion for helping players of all ages and skill levels grow and develop.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with players, parents, and staff.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative and supportive approach.
  • Servant leadership mentality, putting others first.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing responsibilities on short notice.
