This camp will break down how to read screens, finish vs contact, attack closeouts & use your body to create driving lanes. Players will be challenged to win the 1st step, finish with both hands and various ways they can create contact to create separation. During our first segment we will split players up into guards and posts. Posts will focus on screening, post entries, post moves, rebounding, and decision making. Guards will focus on screening, Barkley dribbles, back dribbles, change of speed, and decision making. Players will then be split up into age groups where they will implement their skills into live play scenarios. | ||||

Mon-Tues, From: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Duration: 6 hours over 2 days 1 Summer Camp: $75 Members; $99 Non-Members Led by Olentangy Orange Head Coach Anthony Calo, this camp is designed for players to learn offensive actions through 3 v 3. Players will get on-court experience executing offensive concepts vs live defenders & reading how they are being defended. Players will better understand floor balance, rotating with the drive, reading screens & ways to create offensive momentum. Oftentimes, developing players are slowed down because they are trying to evaluate the situation & thinking through all their options. Players will progress from 3 v 0 teaching drills into 3 v 3 live play. 3 v 3 will be run out of offensive schemes including down-screens, flares, pin-downs, 3-man ball-screens, & dribble handoffs . We want players to stop overthinking & start competing with decisive efforts. | ||||

The Ball Handling & Scoring Camp is designed to increase players’ skills in the fundamental building blocks of the game. We will focus on the “must-haves” of ball-handling and scoring. Players will learn drills and concepts that will assist in growing their confidence with stationary dribbling, driving to the rim, & handling pressure. Players will understand how to become a more effective scorer by playing out of the triple threat, using finishing techniques, moving without the ball, and decision making. Players will have drills, competitions, and live play to develop and apply these skills. | ||||

Mon-Tues, From: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Duration: 6 hours over 2 days 1 Summer Camp: $75 Members; $99 Non-Members Build your foundation with shooting mechanics that will lead to future success. Shooting is a process that combines mechanics, repetition, and confidence. This camp will cover every aspect of shooting including footwork, hand placement, shooting line, setpoint & release. Players will learn how to get open, using & reading screens & how to do your work early in order to have a quicker shot. Shooting with the improper technique will lead you to become better at shooting the wrong way. Learn teaching points and drills that you can continue working on at home. |
They are all morning camps. All camps run from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM with the exception of the Junior Hoops Camp at Dublin that will run from 9:00-11:00 AM

All skill levels are welcome at summer camps. These camps are structured in a way to ensure all athletes are developing and having fun, no matter their skill or experience level.
Yes, all Just Hoops Summer Camps are COED.
We will work as a whole group at some parts of the camp, and other parts we will be competing and doing station work with smaller groups, broken down by age and ability.
Absolutely! It is great for all athletes to practice and get reps this summer. It would be beneficial to hear teaching points and get repetition more than once.
