Joe Graessle

Joe Graessle, a native of Grove City, OH played high school basketball at Bishop Ready. During his 3 years as a member of the varsity team they won 2 district championships, advanced to two Regional Finals and made a state Final Four appearance. Graessle was named 1st Team All-Ohio and District 10 player of the year.

From Ready, Graessle signed to play at Division II Tiffin University where he had a prolific career. His 2,162 points are the most scored of any college basketball player during that 4 year period, regardless of division. Graessle holds 11 career records at TU. He is also the all time leading scorer in league history in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Conference (GLIAC).

After completing his undergraduate degree at Tiffin, Coach Graessle continued his playing career professionally overseas spending multiple seasons in both Spain and China. While playing professionally overseas he earned his Masters of Education. Coach Graessle is most excited to share his knowledge of the game with the younger generation and encourage everyone to be their best – both as players and as individuals.
