Join NBA Point Guard, Jason Preston, and the Just Hoops Coaches for the March Madness Clinic!
This clinic will focus on developing skills on the offensive side of the ball through drills, instruction, competitions, and live play. Jason Preston is excited to share his experiences and passion for the game with the young athletes.
Jason Preston Bio:
NBA: Drafted 33rd overall by the Los Angeles Clippers in the 2021 NBA Draft and has played 2 seasons with the Utah Jazz.
College: Ohio University, lead 13 seed OU to first round upset win over 4 seed Virginia. Collegiate career included several accolades such as First Team All-MAC and MAC Tournament MVP (2021).

The 2-Day Spring Break Skill & Play Clinic will emphasize attacking the paint off the catch, moving without the basketball, shooting form and staying between the ball and basket while guarding the basketball. Instruction will be broken down between skill development and competitive live play situations to test players’ skill sets and basketball IQ. The goal for each player is to learn multiple offensive and defensive coaching points to become a more well-rounded player.

This clinic is designed to increase players’ skills in the fundamental building blocks of the game. Players will learn drills and concepts that will assist in growing their confidence with stationary dribbling, driving to the rim, & handling pressure.
The goal is for players to become a more effective scorer by learning triple threat moves, live-ball moves, finishing techniques, moving without the ball, and decision making. Players will have drills, competitions, and live play to develop and apply these skills.
